Project Brief

Aaron is personal trainer with his own story of transformation, which drives the focus for his services.
He was looking for a website to tell the story of his own journey and those of his previous clients, with a focus on signing new customers to his online coaching programme.

Aaron and I had previously worked together on a three page website; my first work for him.  In that project, we had established some visual branding decisions that carried through to this website upgrade and revamp project.

Branding 

We kept the fresh and friendly colour scheme of Aaron’s branding and used that to convey the vitality and energy that comes from his services.

Images 

Images have a strong role on the website, with before and after shots of previous clients as well as a striking ‘Now’ shot of Aaron, taking centre stage on the About sections.  Images are also used as an initial story telling mechanism throughout Aaron’s About and Services pages, with neat headings and text supporting the narrative that is immediately told in images.

Achieving focus

Our revisions led to us eliminating various other services from the website and focusing purely on Aaron’s online coaching; this created a clear Call to Action on every page to maximise conversion to Aaron’s primary service, as well as minimising workflow and the back and forth of unnecessary enquiries.

Reducing work load

To further minimise dead end enquiries, Aaron’s website boasts a gorgeous FAQ section, packed with easy to find information that will help his potential customers with initial queries.
